We are recruiting a Process Development Leader, Source to Pay for our Group Finance and Global Business Operations team

As a Process Development Leader- Source to Pay, you will already have excellent knowledge of the IKEA brand, ideally IKEA food, the business and Ingka's business operations. Project management is one of your key skills and you will have a good understanding of the project cycle from start to finish. You will know how to design, implement and follow up on initiatives, whilst using certain tools to ensure they are integrated effectively and efficiently, navigating the complexities of individual countries.

You are analytical and have confidence in using data and new technologies for making business decisions. Whilst collaborating with different stakeholders, you are able to implement change and build strong alliances both across the business and outside of IKEA.

Along with the capabilities mentioned above, you must also have the following experiences to be successful in the role:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance/ economics or a related field.
  2. 5-7 years with increased responsibility in accounting or finance related field.
  3. Strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions and multitask.
  4. Ingka business experience.
  5. Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
  6. Proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others.

Please note that Ingka employees will be prioritised in this recruitment process. This role is a permanent position and can be based in either Malmo, Sweden or Amsterdam. IKEA is providing international relocation support if needed.

Your responsibilities

Working as part of the Group Finance and Global Business Operations function, with support with the development of IKEA Food, documenting the end-to-end inventory flow with fulfillment and core services as well as developing the Business Operations Transformation template for the complex countries. You will play a pivotal part in securing the Ingka Group long-term profitability and growth through business transformation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include the following:

  1. Lead a specific process design and prepare the basis for decisions with E2E process view and collaborate closely with relevant functions (Group Functions, GBO, Markets, and Digital, etc).
  2. Secure consistency and interdependencies in the process development towards other connected processes.
  3. Lead the implementation and establishment of the process ways of working and secure designed process efficiencies and effectiveness.
  4. Assess and analyse the business benefit of identified process improvement potentials of specific processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives cross-functionally.
  5. Lead the process documentation according to a defined framework (process maps, working methods, task descriptions, measurement specifications and learning material).
  6. Set up performance measurement (KPIs) for specific processes, secure connection with other processes and follow up on performance.
  7. Lead initiatives and projects and act as a specific finance process representative contributing to other Ingka projects, e.g. new countries, new touchpoints, new business model etc.
  8. Secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, and process teams within Ingka Group.
  9. Secure cross-organisational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach.
  10. Ensuring a safe environment for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with Ingka policies.
