The Position

As a Finance Partner for Obesity and Diabetes in Finance & Operations in Sweden, you will be responsible for driving decision making and budgeting through financial forecasting and data insights. You will act as a sparring and business partner to our local marketing and sales organisation, and in addition to that, you will:

  1. Engage with a large variety of stakeholders across the value chain in the Swedish sales affiliate and regional sales office to discuss and assess the impact of market dynamics on sales forecasting and associated supply outlook.
  2. Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to set a solid sales ambition level and manage direct marketing investments.
  3. Own and work with our financial and market development reporting including Business Intelligence dashboards, monthly management reports, as well as tracking and driving commercial insights to ensure we execute on our strategy.
  4. Be a part of a diverse and core team of the Swedish affiliate and work closely together with the other Finance Partners, Supply chain managers, and Commercial Excellence managers within the Finance & Operations team.
  5. Drive cross-functional working groups to address ad-hoc and current business challenges.

We offer hybrid working options, with the possibility of working both from our Malmö office, Copenhagen office, or from home.

Qualifications

You are highly communicative and a self-driven team player. You are about to finalize a master's degree within Business, Economics or Finance or have up to 5 years of relevant work experience. The title and responsibility level/project complexity will be assessed based on your current level of experience and ability.

In addition to that, you have:

  1. A passion for financial decision making and the pharmaceutical industry.
  2. A solid problem-solving toolbox, out-of-the-box thinking, and eagerness to further improve your financial and forecasting skillset.
  3. Strong stakeholder management skills and a great ability to build relations.
  4. A track record of driving projects independently, and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
  5. Experience within data-modelling and business intelligence tools such as PowerBI is a plus, but not a must-have.
  6. A learning and adaptive mindset that allows you to thrive in dynamic environments.
About the Department

The position is anchored in the Finance & Operations team of Novo Nordisk Sweden, with its office located in Malmö. It provides financial and operational support for the Swedish affiliate with its activities for pharmaceutical sales and drug development within Sweden.
