Description Overview

We are looking for a passionate & qualified Social Media Manager to join our team at Perrigo The role as Social Media Manager is a dynamic role that operates in a continuously changing landscape which gives you an exciting opportunity to shape how we work with our social channels. The role as Social Media Manager is a maternity leave cover for one year. You will be responsible for leading the creation and moderation of engaging content for the market-leading skincare brand ACO, which is the leading brand across pharmacies in Sweden, Norway & Finland.

We are looking for someone with a true passion for digital content & social media, working in relevant creative tools, and with content creation skills. Together with our Nordic marketing team, you will be a key resource in building our digital presence where you will take on both a strategic and an operational role. The position will be placed in our Nordic Headquarter in Kista reporting to the Head of Media & Digital.

Scope of the Role
  1. Develop content strategy & produce material for social channels & websites.
  2. Build and manage our content calendar in close collaboration with brand teams and our external agencies.
  3. Ensure that all activities and content are engaging and in line with our brand positioning & tone of voice.
  4. Take ownership of community management on social channels, e.g. Instagram, Facebook & TikTok.
  5. Lead internal & external social media content productions, in partnership with the marketing team – responsible from ideation to delivery.
  6. Create and edit organic & paid visual content including imagery, video content, and web pages in line with the brand look & feel.
  7. Stay up to date with digital development and industry best practice, monitoring competitors' activities and proactively generate new ideas to improve our KPI performance & digital presence.
  8. Continuously evaluate and update user experience & optimization on websites, together with the e-commerce team.
  9. Actively manage and foster online communities by engaging with the community.
Experience Required
  1. At least 3+ years of relevant working experience with a degree in communication, content creation or similar.
  2. Proven track record of working with platform optimized content.
  3. Experience of project leading content creation from either in-house productions, or via external agency productions.
  4. Knowledge of/or similar tools as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator & After Effects.
  5. Digitally savvy and familiar with digital metrics, a genuine interest to keep updated with the latest digital trends.
  6. Fluent in Swedish and English (company language is English) and other Nordic languages are an advantage.
