Nordic Cyber Practice Leader

Over the previous years we have been investing in talent and expanding our Financial Lines team in the Nordics, and we are currently looking for a Nordic Head of Tech, covering our product lines 'Cyber' and 'PI'.

The position is placed at our office in Stockholm - however, for the right candidate we are willing to consider Copenhagen.

The team

As part of the Nordic Financial Lines team, you will become a valued member of a large group of dedicated and professional group of underwriters as well as student workers currently based out of our offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki.

About the role

Your primary focus will be leading and developing a team of underwriting professionals that deliver Cyber & PI insurances to AIG's clients. Further, you are expected to take part in the underwriting of these clients. As part of the Nordic Financial Lines leadership team, you will work closely with the Nordic Head of Financial Lines and other Practice Leaders (MLC, FI, and K&R) in setting the overall direction for our team's success, which includes, underwriting strategy, resource allocation, budgeting, marketing initiatives, client presentations, and wording development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the Cyber team and Nordic Cyber strategy to meet planned financial and operating target.
  • Developing relationships with existing and new clients and their insurance brokers.
  • Managing renewals and new business submissions.
  • Working together with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal service to our clients.
  • Participating in wording development and marketing initiatives.
  • Attend internal and external education & training sessions to ensure your continuous professional development.
  • Underwriting allocation together with other Practice Leads and Head of Financial Lines.
  • Support and build on our one Nordic team culture, including acting as referral point on Cyber/PI while also ensuring our team is up to date on available training.
  • Pipeline-building and evaluation of win-opportunities on new business for Cyber/PI across the Nordics.
  • Budget and forecast update and planning for Nordic Cyber/PI.

  • Have great communication skills and excel in negotiating and presenting to various stakeholders.
