About the area
Inter IKEA Group is organised in three core businesses - Range, Supply and Retail Concept - and five enabling functions. Together we contribute to the success of IKEA and share responsibility for the franchise offer.
The enabling functions lead key common activities in networks across Inter IKEA Group, as well as cover specific needs for the core businesses. The five Enabling functions are Operations Management, Business Performance & Support, Communication, Sustainability and People & Culture.
About the job
As a Digital product leader, you will have the chance to lead the development and implementation of viable, valuable, feasible, and desirable digital products, including the opportunity to spearhead a product aimed at simplifying internal and external product communication. You will be accountable for the product backlog (build, edit, and maintain) and prioritisation, for solution requirements through user stories to meet business needs and user experience.
You will create and communicate a product vision while leading an empowered and motivated product team. Acting as the bridge between our business partners and product teams, you'll collaborate closely with our capability area to prioritise the product backlog and define OKRs.
Reporting to the Digital Product Manager, you'll work alongside your colleagues to ensure data and technology is connected. While representing the needs of the IKEA stakeholder community, you'll be the voice of our users, ensuring that our efforts consistently deliver maximum value.
About you
You are the type of person that can manage to see the big picture and the details, and you collaborate and communicate with your stakeholders to build trust and partnership to reach our common goals. You need to be a good communicator to inspire and give direction to the team, partners, and stakeholders.
Unafraid of complex environments, you see them as an opportunity to clarify and simplify. You are curious and open-minded, naturally building bridges between teams.
To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:
- Solid software Product Management experience leading a cross-functional team
- Strong understanding of marketing, content and product information management technologies
- Strong ability to create and communicate a product vision, mission and product strategy
- Strong ability to lead, inspire, and empower team members while delivering with speed and employing an agile approach to development, both internally and externally. Serve as an ambassador for agile practices and product culture within your team and across transversal teams.
- Strong ability to communicate and create trustful relationships in collaborative processes as well as visualising concepts and ideas
- Ability to handle complexity and solve problems through simplicity
- Passionate about technology and trends that create better solutions and bring business and user value
- High entrepreneurial drive: Stretching boundaries, challenging what already exists, always striving to develop a better digital landscape
- Previous experience in tech companies and/or retail will give you an extra edge
This role is full-time (40-hours per week) and based in Älmhult, Sweden with occasional travel to the office in Malmö. This role sits in the Range Operations, Digital Product Area of Commercial and reports to Digital Product Manager.
