Paid Social Strategist with a passion for Technology

At GroupM Nexus, we are seeking a tech-savvy Paid Social Strategist to join our team, focusing on one of our largest and most pivotal clients. This role is designed for someone who not only excels in creating innovative Paid Social strategies but also has a genuine interest in the technical aspects of the role, including working with Smartly, the implementation of CAPI, and knowledge in using, and giving feedback on client's dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Paid Social strategy for a single, high-profile client, ensuring top-tier delivery and service
  2. Drive the use of Smartly.io to enhance campaign performance and efficiency
  3. Coach junior specialists' operational work including time management to ensure client profitability
  4. Development of best practice within the social platforms
  5. Collaboration with other disciplines to identify areas of improvement for the clients
  6. Presentation of strategy, results, best practice and trends in our internal, client- and agency meetings
  7. Pitch work and presentations of social media
  8. Identify and selling in prioritized projects in social media, for example in tracking and third-party tools
  9. Have a comprehensive understanding of GroupM's digital offering and identify opportunities for cross sales
  10. Drive innovation on your top-tier client, and on other clients by sharing strategies, tests, and results with the wider social team
  11. Campaign management and optimization in platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn and TikTok
  12. Strategy and recommendation for advertising in social media such as choice of platform, budget, KPI, target group, format, frequency, test and input on creative material
  13. Analysis, evaluation and reporting based on defined objectives and KPIs
Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years of experience in digital advertising or media, working full funnel in social media buying with a focus on performance and technical aspects.
  2. Proven track record with Smartly.io or similar tools, with an understanding of their role in campaign success
  3. Excellent knowledge of Meta Ads Manager
  4. High knowledge of LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest and TikTok Ads Manager
  5. Broad understanding of digital channels
  6. Experience working with dashboards and third-party platforms
  7. Experience presenting in both small and large forums
  8. Experience from pitch work and case presentations
  9. High knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel
  10. University degree or relevant education in digital marketing
  11. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  12. Analytical thinking, curious and driven to improve your results
  13. Attention to details, organized and works independently
  14. Thrives in team's environment and ability to build trust in client relationships
  15. Good understanding of tracking, including both browser and server side, knowledge on how to navigate in- and use google tag manager, as well as experience in how to troubleshoot tracking issues
