We are now looking for a VP of Finance who will become a key player in the team. This is an opportunity to be a part of a truly exciting growth journey

As VP Finance, you are responsible for further developing the finance team to a strategic and commercial function serving as a business partner and promoting data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. In this key leadership role, you will define and execute our financial strategy, ensuring optimized financial operations, forecasting, and reporting. You will also drive automation and efficiency, building robust, scalable processes that support our growth and long-term success.

The ideal candidate thrives in the front lines, and can couple operational knowledge, with a clear grasp of business models, and data / reporting. The candidate has a solid financial toolbox coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong drive. You also have a strong interest in using technology as a way of enabling growth when building a successful company.

You have strong interpersonal and analytical skills as well as a genuine interest in developing companies and making high level financial analyses. You also have experience working with people across organizations and communicating a vision as well as building buy-in whilst working at a high pace in a professional manner, both independently and in teams.

Your primary responsibilities include:

Financial Strategy & Data-Driven Insights

  • Oversee Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Business Control to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Leverage SaaS-specific KPIs to optimize growth and profitability.
  • Develop scalable financial models and forecasting frameworks that support strategic decision-making.

Business Control & Performance Optimization

  • Implement data analytics and automation to improve financial insights, planning, and reporting.
  • Partner with Revenue, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive financial efficiency.
  • Lead unit economics analysis, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and margin expansion.

Accounting, Compliance & Financial Operations

  • Ensure accurate financial statements, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
  • Lead financial audits, risk management, and internal controls to support scaling operations.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, build and mentor a high-performing finance team of four individuals that drives a data-first culture.
  • Work closely with C-suite and department heads to align financial insights with business goals.
  • Support pricing strategy, contract structure, and financial efficiency in collaboration with Strategy, Sales & Product teams.

Legal & Compliance Support

  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, financial regulations, and contract management.
  • Support commercial contracts, SaaS agreements, and risk management in collaboration with external legal advisors.

Major professional experiences & competencies

  • You have 8-10+ years of full-time professional experience as a VP Finance, Finance Director, or similar senior Finance Roles. Ideally hands on experience from a technology-driven entrepreneurial growth company (specifically in a SaaS business)
  • Masters's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Well-developed financial and commercial understanding which allows you to rapidly understand the business logic and value drivers of any given business
  • You know "what good looks like" when it comes to finance functions, tools & processes
  • You have experience with setting up and optimizing processes regarding SaaS KPI tracking and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical and strategic skill set
  • Well-developed communication and leadership abilities
