Personalization is a Product Area part of the Customer Relationships Domain in Growth and Marketing. The goal of the area is to power a relevant and personal experience across channels, with the smart and ethical use of data, to boost engagement and maximize conversion. The area includes 8 product teams dedicated to solving this problem. We are looking for a product owner to head one of these teams.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist in:

The candidate will work extensively with a team of engineers and data scientists, and collaborate with other Personalization product teams.

You will be responsible for delivering recommendations that help customers find what they need across our online channels. Your tasks will include forming the vision and strategy for the product, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, understanding our customers, being data-informed, and working with your product team to deliver on a roadmap you set.

You need a solid understanding of business and strategy and be familiar with working in Agile or DevOps environments. Strong analytical skills for making data-driven decisions are essential. You should be an effective communicator with both business and technical stakeholders in an international environment. You are a true team player who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and making decisions that positively impact our users.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent skills in leading a team with multiple technical disciplines.
  2. Strong focus on customer problems and needs, with a natural curiosity for solving them.
  3. Good knowledge of e-commerce, preferably with experience in recommendation systems.
  4. Ability to influence, listen to, and collaborate successfully with various stakeholders in a complex environment.
  5. Confident in the product owner role in relation to other digital functions, and best practices in building agile, outcome-oriented ways of working.
  6. End-to-end ownership of backend products and applications, preferably with an understanding of data science.
  7. Strong ability to identify with the customers and inspire deep customer empathy within the team.
  8. Good knowledge of defining and measuring success, such as creating OKRs.
  9. Passionate about the digital future and navigating in complex environments.
  10. Data-informed and outcome-driven mindset.
