TRATON AB has a role, for an immediate start, within TRATON Corporate Planning & Reporting Performance Controlling Team for the position of Head of R&D Holding Controlling. This recruitment is handled by Scania for TRATON AB.

The TRATON AB office, located in Södertälje, consists of experienced colleagues with various backgrounds and nationalities from all TRATON Group brands, representing Group Functions for all brands e.g. Group Product Management, Group R&D and Group Finance. We enjoy solving strategic problems cross-functional and cross-brand in the TRATON Group.

About the Position

This is a full-time/permanent Head of position within the TRATON Corporate Planning & Reporting Performance Controlling Team, based in Sweden.

You will report functionally to Malte Schmitz (Head of Corporate Planning & Reporting) and disciplinarily to Yunus Birgin (Head of Portfolio Controlling & Holding Controlling).

In the Role as Head of R&D Holding Controlling, you will be part of the Corporate Planning & Reporting Performance Controlling Team and work cross-functionally with different teams at TRATON AB, at the local R&D entities, and the Controlling of the brands. You are responsible for ensuring the reporting, planning, and strategic financial steering of the consolidated TRATON AB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build up a new Controlling team at TRATON AB.
  • Implement TRATON GROUP planning and reporting processes at TRATON AB and the local R&D entities.
  • Perform strategic and operative planning, budgeting, regular forecasting, and actual management reporting for the consolidated TRATON AB.
  • Analyze and comment on actual development and plan/actual variances on relevant financial and non-financial key performance indicators.
  • Be responsible for cost centre controlling of the TRATON AB.

As part of the Corporate Planning & Reporting Performance Controlling Team, you will work with all brands in the Group, maintaining a Group view and having frequent contact with all brands.

Minimum Requirements
  • Master's degree in business administration or equivalent qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in planning and controlling, preferably in the automotive industry; international experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in leading teams or projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge in controlling, as well as basic accounting skills.
  • High sense of quality and responsibility.
  • Team player with an interactive, communicative, and structured working style, able to present data clearly.
  • Enjoy working in a diverse, dynamic team with counterparts across the world.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
