About the role:

As the trusted advisor to Acapela and R&D teams, you will optimize financial performance across the business and ensure financial sustainability of projects.

In this role you will:

  • Finance Business Partner for R&D: Take charge of budget creation, forecasting, and project reporting for R&D initiatives and monitor project progress with key performance indices such as ROI and Cost Performance Index (CPI).
  • Product and Project Profitability: Evaluate product profitability and provide detailed financial support, including standard cost calculations, resource planning, and time-tracking for projects.
  • Business Case Development: Collaborate with product management to develop and assess product business cases and inform decision-making on investments.
  • Cost Control and Forecasting: Manage cost tracking and forecasts for projects, monitoring deviations and supporting accurate financial reporting.
What We're Looking for:

We are looking for someone that has:

  • Equivalent of +6 years of business controlling experience, ideally within R&D or product development.
  • Equivalent of bachelor's in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and business understanding, with the ability to present clear insights to senior management.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written), and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience using financial analysis tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
