Cepheid collaborates with six fellow Danaher Diagnostics companies to develop diagnostic tools that address major health challenges, driven by the understanding that every test impacts a patient.

The Process Life Cycle Team, under Product Transfer, serves as the technical partner to various functions within Cepheid. We oversee post-launch changes, improvement projects, assay transfers between sites, and market expansions. In this role, we troubleshoot, create new processes, and ensure efficient production of high-quality products.

This position in Technical Operations is based in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden, where our vision at Cepheid is to lead in providing connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate, lead, and participate in projects, and implement operations-related activities including:
  • Changes to manufacturing processes and test procedures
  • Updates of BOMs, procedures, and worksheets
  • Investigations, troubleshooting, and risk assessments
  • Initial assessment of requests/tasks
  • Implementation of changes to customer-facing items, such as product labels
  • TestMethod validations/Process Validation, and Qualifications

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • MS or BS in Life Sciences with 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in Molecular Biology Techniques including PCR
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish & English (oral and written)
  • Project leadership or coordination experience
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
  • Operations/Manufacturing experience or work in a regulated environment (ISO or GMP)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Design for Manufacturing
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations in US and CE markets
  • Validation/qualification and/or Change Control experience

This is a temporary position due to parental leave.
