Test Manager, IT

Your Role

As Test Manager within the Caverion Group IT division, you will take charge of devising testing strategies, guidelines, and methodologies. Your main objective is to guarantee that our development endeavors meet rigorous quality benchmarks, standards, and user expectations. You will oversee testing activities, coordinate environments, offer guidance, and arrange external assistance for various development projects. Your responsibilities involve close collaboration with multiple development teams in a cross-vendor setting utilizing both traditional and agile development approaches.

Key responsibilities summarized:

  • Ensuring IT development undergoes comprehensive quality assurance before deployment
  • Issuing directives and assistance to development teams concerning testing
  • Guiding and backing testing teams and potentially engaging in testing procedures
  • Formulating User Acceptance and Regression test plans along with test cases, managing coordination, and documentation
  • Facilitating the preparation of Test data and Test accounts essential for testing execution
  • Promoting the adoption of common test utilities
  • Continuously refining the testing processes and toolset utilized in testing endeavors
  • Raising the level of automation

We value if you have:

  • A keen interest and over 3 years of experience in testing, test automation, and quality assurance
  • Prior exposure to test management and automation tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
  • Effective collaboration and problem-solving prowess
  • Solid comprehension of various IT technologies
  • Thorough knowledge of different development methodologies and background in functioning within a multi-vendor setup
  • Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written, and preferably proficiency in one of the Nordic languages or German
