Sourcing Manager

As a Sourcing Manager at NA-KD, you play a key role in the sourcing and procurement process, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products that resonate with our brand DNA and customer preferences. Your responsibilities include identifying, assessing, and partnering with suppliers, negotiating contracts, overseeing social standards compliance, and optimizing the supply chain to uphold exceptional product quality and availability while staying true to our sustainability values. This position reports to the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).

Key Responsibilities

Supplier and Contract Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers meeting stringent requirements for fashion trends, material quality, and competitive pricing.
  • Conduct regular visits to supplier sites to assess production capabilities, quality control, and nurture strong partnerships.
  • Negotiate agreements and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms without compromising quality or delivery timelines.

Compliance and Social Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with the CSR team to ensure suppliers adhere to ethical labor, environmental, and business practices.
  • Conduct audits to verify compliance with social standards like fair wages, safe working conditions, and prohibition of child labor.

Product Quality Assurance and Sustainability Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain strict quality control measures with suppliers to meet company standards and regulations.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives across the supply chain to comply with industry standards.

Supply Chain Optimization:

  • Continuously optimize the supply chain to enhance profitability, reduce lead times, and manage costs while ensuring product quality and availability.

Market Research:

  • Stay updated on market trends, sourcing best practices, and new opportunities to keep product offerings competitive.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals for successful product launches and inventory management.

Your Background & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management in fashion or retail.
  • Proven track record in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and achieving cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of fashion trends, materials, production processes, and a passion for innovation and sustainability.
