Who are we looking for?

As a buyer within the automotive industry, you will be leading all purchasing activities related to involvement of suppliers in different engineering projects. Your responsibilities include making sure that the segment strategy is implemented through the selection of the right suppliers and by continuously securing supplier performance within Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management. You will also follow-up of contracts and agreements with suppliers, handle supplier switch activities and ensure implementation. You will be part of a diverse and passionate team of experienced buyers supporting each other with the common mission to develop and maintain a world-class supplier base

We are looking for a person with the following profile:

  • Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within purchasing or logistics
  • Experience from automotive industry is a strong merit
  • Great communication, report writing and team working skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and a target-oriented approach
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
