Product Application Engineer

We provide energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability. We now have a new opportunity for a Product Application Engineer to Power Products sales in Sweden.
You will be working in the Power Products team, providing value to the customer with a wide range of application and product offers in the field. The main focus of the role is to support and develop sales activities, attend customer meetings, conduct switchgear system and busway related trainings along with educating markets about power delivery efficiency opportunities within our customer businesses.
As a Product Application Engineer, you will work within the Power Products business unit and collaborate closely with other business unit's sales specialist teams. You will develop and execute business strategies with Offer Managers, promote new offers and support with product launches.
Specific responsibilities related to the position:- Actively promote Switchgear product family (Prisma and Okken) and Busway (Canalis); provide technical product expertise and position the value propositions of switchgear and busways within the customer base.
- Apply knowledge of switchgear and busway products/solutions/services to meet customer's needs.
- Collaborate with all internal & external business stakeholders to maximize the chances of winning projects.
- Collaborate with various customer segments, Specifiers, Panelbuilders and End users.
- Support for managing sales tools and product configurations.
- Support offer managers with product data and product launch localization/translations.
- Coordinate switchgear and busbar related trainings.
Depending on your ambition and preferences the role can consist of market strategy development and execution.
We look for candidates with:Suitable technical degree in electrical, mechanical, or automation field. Experience with low and medium voltage electricity distribution at least five years. Know-how of power distribution and power infrastructure, all the way from MV transformers to busway outlets. Ideally experience in power distribution related solution sales. Knowledge of MS Office, Power BI, SAP and CRM systems is an advantage. Excellent language skills in Swedish and English an advantage.
