AWS is seeking a solutions architect for our Storage team, who will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) guiding customers in designing intricate solutions.
As a team member, you will collaborate closely with Europe North customers in various industry verticals (Financial Services, Media and Entertainment, Manufacturing, Technology, Health Care and Life Sciences, Retail, etc.) to facilitate large-scale use cases and promote the adoption of advanced AWS services.
You will engage with other Solution Architects in the field, offering advice on their customer interactions, and you will create white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to help customers fully utilize AWS.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) are accountable for boosting revenue, adoption, and growth from mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector entities.
The AWS Global Support team collaborates with leading companies and underscores the importance of top-notch support for customer success.
AWS Support collaborates with a diverse range of customers developing critical applications on AWS services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our product and field teams and 3rd party model providers to enable new capabilities for customers to build and deploy data workloads on AWS infrastructure.
- Devise top-notch storage infrastructure solutions for all phases of customer and product lifecycles.
- Possess the technical expertise and business acumen to implement storage and data strategies.
- Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, and Service teams to expedite customer adoption and revenue growth.
- Work closely with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to advance model implementations and new solutions.
- Thought Leadership - Advocate and disseminate best practices through platforms such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events like AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
- Serve as a technical intermediary between customers and AWS teams to offer customer-oriented feedback for product enhancement.
- Foster and support an internal AWS community of relevant subject matter experts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- BA/BS degree required or equivalent experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
- Strong Technical Communication Skills; adept at bridging the gap between business objectives and technical requirements.
- Familiarity with how Storage technology is utilized for modern data solutions
