About the Job:Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills.
- Design, develop and revise paint application and paint equipment for new launches and paint shop industrialization.
- Implement paint shop standards and procedures within Plasman worldwide organization based on excellent project management skills.
- Ensure paint development process meet the customer expectations in terms of specification, FTT, CT and process excellence.
- Ensure SOP based on timing.
- Deploy corporate standards and best practices within HQ and plants.
- Define and write specification of paint shop, paint equipment, robotized cells, peripheral equipment and paint jigs.
- Participate in paint line modification by giving technical recommendations and follow up with suppliers.
- Follow up on product development process according to customer requirements.
You bring:
- Understanding of expectations detailed through Organization Statements, Standards, Visions, Policies, and Procedures (i.e. Mission, Values, Code of Conduct, Operational, Quality, and Environmental Health & Safety), as referenced in Employee Handbooks and communicated through Orientation and/or other training awareness opportunities.
- Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations.
- Possess sound financial and business insights.
- Capable of independent travel to, from, and within designated regions.
- Self-driven with strong problem-solving abilities and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemistry, robotics, or mechanical engineering.
Work Experience:Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the paint field within the automotive industry.
Other Requirements:- Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal is a must. Swedish knowledge is advantageous.
