Tuve is the introduction plant for Volvo HD Trucks, where products meet industrial process for the first time. We are transforming the plant into the future to meet the high ambition on sustainable solutions we have within the group
As the Director of Engineering & Maintenance, you will be the spider in the web to secure our full potential of new products, processes, and technology. Together with the strategic outlook you will also ensure that our industrial process delivers on target.

You will inspire and lead an organization of around 150+ employees. You will be part of the plant management team, a true x-functional team where the E2E delivery always goes first.

• Lead the plant into the future of new products, processes, and technology.

• Foster a collaborative work environment and inspire a culture of innovation and excellence.

• Develop and implement engineering and maintenance strategies to optimize performance and efficiency for the plant.

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and lean production initiatives. Removing organizational silos.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within GTX (Group Trucks Technology, Purchasing and Operations).

Qualifications:


• Proven leadership experience, preferably within production, engineering, or maintenance.

• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.

• Expertise in lean production methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and lead diverse teams.

• Demonstrated ability to lead by vision and inspire others.

• Technical interest and curiosity, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and advancements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
It's a great benefit if you have a well-established network within GTO (Group Trucks Operations).
