Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Art Buyer focusing on Women. As an Art Buyer at H&M Studios, you are a part of the core team in a customer group, contributing to the strategy and planning of production and creative execution. You are responsible for securing the best creative deal for the required production including sourcing and negotiation of top talent and best creatives in the industry, with the goal to build H&M Studios as a creative house.

Your day-to day responsibilities are casting and talent sourcing (Photographers, Hair & make up, etc.) for the shoots produced in the H&M Photo Studio, as well as managing budgets, estimates, invoices etc. The scope also involves sourcing and negotiation of/ with production companies and other external (and internal) parties for location shoots and any other (not predefined) production needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creative research (Art directors, photographers, stylists, and production companies etc.)
  • Casting (Sourcing and negotiation of models)
  • Internal production logistics and administration (call sheet & photo schedules)
  • Negotiations and contract management, including handling offers and invoices. Negotiations and planning with external producer/production company.
  • Ensuring the budget plan and follow up on outcome.
Qualifications

We are looking for an openminded and humble team player with a lot of ambition. You seek opportunities to learn and develop and you are used to working with tight deadlines in fast-paced environments. To be successful in this role we believe that you have great knowledge and a genuine interest in international and local casting (models and talents, photographers etc.) as well as excellent negotiations, communication, and organization skills.

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Art Buyer or Agent
  • Great knowledge and genuine interest of sourcing models, photographers, stylists, and other creative talents within the fashion industry.
  • Excellent negotiator and good knowledge of working with legal contracts.
  • Great stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Easy adaption to new challenges, able to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Additional Information

This is based at H&M Studios in Frihamnen, Stockholm, starting as soon as possible but no later than 1st of October.
