We are currently seeking a skilled Scientist to join the Bioscience COPD IPF Department within Early Respiratory and Immunology (R&I) in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The Bioscience COPD/IPF department comprises 7 teams in Sweden, UK, and the US.

Our main focus is advancing projects within our portfolio, enhancing our understanding of COPD and IPF, and aiding in target identification for new initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and analyze in vitro experiments
  • Contribute to scientific discussions and experiment design
  • Perform experiments across various cells and tissues for in vitro, in vivo, and patient studies
  • Support the identification of new drug targets and the progress of drug discovery projects

Expectations:

  • Conduct in vitro/ex vivo experiments as per study plans
  • Assist in data interpretation and experiment planning
  • Communicate results effectively within the team
  • Collaborate to meet project objectives
  • Demonstrate flexibility and practical skills

Requirements:

  • MSc or BSc in a relevant science field (e.g. Molecular/Cell Biology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology)
  • Experience in in vitro assays and cell culturing
  • Proficiency in cell and molecular biology techniques, immunoassays, protein, and RNA analysis
  • Excellent English communication skills
