This position reports into EMEA R&D Self Care Sr. Director and is based at Helsingborg, Sweden. This position provides EMEA-based mobility.

What you will do

The EMEA R&D Nutritional Development Senior Manager will manage the execution of the EMEA R&D Nutritional (Zarbee's) E2E Development pipeline and team deliverables. Responsible for the region's Nutritional innovation and Life Cycle Management pipeline, driving profitability and adapting products to local customer needs.Develop strong collaboration with internal manufacturing sites and external development partnerships, especially for regional brand innovation. Develop strong partnerships with other organization leaders in Marketing, Regulatory, Packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute the end-to-end pipeline for Nutritional Self Care products, enabling the business strategy through innovative solutions for our consumers, customers, and planet.

· Executes the regional RD Nutritional strategy for the short and long term, which is consumer-centric, E2E, sustainable, high-quality, and compliant. Works closely with internal manufacturing sites and external partners to deliver the pipeline.

· Works closely with commercial and cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment and prioritization around Innovation strategy, portfolio management, resources, and budgets.

· Lead role in R&D for technical problem resolution and project success criteria, demonstrating superior technical formulation knowledge and processes.

· Deliver science that sells assets and expertise to support flawless execution in the market.

· Lead a team of scientists, driving their talent and development agenda.

· Understands the research landscape and leverages internal and external networks to access new scientific technologies that enable a fast and agile go-to-market model.

· Anticipates competitor activities, regulatory developments, and sustainability trends to ensure that the pipeline and portfolio are robust and competitive in terms of performance, claims, and cost, which meets the requirements of the business and consumers' needs.

· Ensure all processes and activities comply with company policies and applicable external regulations/laws. Provide and nurture the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance.

· Manage complete EMEA Nutritional R&D development budget.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

· Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience in nutritional product development with a bachelor's degree or above in sciences, engineering, or pharmacy is required.

· Demonstrated experience in new product development and leadership in leading and working in a cross-functional team.

· Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for nutritional products.

· Ability to think creatively and incorporate new technologies and techniques into product development.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at senior levels.

· Have experience partnering with internal/external resources to drive innovation.

· Ability to build solid relationships in the following areas: Marketing, Technology, Formulation, Operations, Regulatory, and Legal are necessary.
