This position reports to the Director of Translational Science and is located in Helsingborg, Sweden.

The Helsingborg site, a major employer in the city, consists of two primary departments: Operations, dedicated to manufacturing, and R&D, our global center of excellence focusing on self-care treatments in Smoking Cessation, Digestive Health, and Cough & Cold therapeutic areas.

What You Will Do

The Consumer Science Scientist will contribute to foundational and applied research to support our iconic brands and key need areas: Smoking Cessation, Cough/Cold, Digestive Health, and other priority EMEA brands. This role entails close collaboration with EMEA End-to-end Product Development Leaders to influence and execute product development, claims, and communication strategies. Building external partnerships is pivotal for shaping the future of care in these essential categories and promoting the scientific backing of our products externally, in coordination with marketing, regulatory, legal, statistics/data management, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project delivery, data analysis, and the generation of consumer-centric insights to drive the successful launch of innovative consumer products leveraging cutting-edge technologies and consumer science methodologies.
  • Collaborate extensively with the E2E R&D team to drive innovation grounded in leading consumer science practices.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behaviors, and emerging technologies that could influence consumer product development.
  • Implement scientific and technical strategies to expedite product development and enhance the communication of product benefits.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external scientific partners, to advance consumer research and development endeavors.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in sciences, Engineering, or Pharmacy. A Doctorate (PhD) or Equivalent is a plus.
