Position: Systems Engineering Lead

Are you ready to take the lead in driving Systems Engineering excellence? Elevate Kalmar Counter Balanced (CB) division by introducing and implementing Systems Engineering principles. With your support, the organization will improve the ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions and integrate the engineering disciplines with Integrated Product Development (such as hydraulics, electronics, power electrics, software, mechanics, etc.).

Location: Ljungby, Sweden

Reporting to: Head of System and Architecture CB System & Architecture

Main tasks and responsibilities
  1. Architect a strategy that incorporates Systems Engineering principles into Kalmar's Counter Balanced division.
  2. Own and govern processes from requirements engineering to lifecycle management.
  3. Standardize Systems Engineering frameworks and templates, and initiate improvements if needed.
  4. Drive the tool chain supporting Systems Engineering efforts for enhanced operational efficiency.
  5. Develop and deliver targeted Systems Engineering training programs organization-wide.
  6. Provide ongoing support to project teams in implementing Systems Engineering principles.
  7. Stay updated on industry advancements to keep the organization at the cutting edge.
Requirements for Success

Education: A technical university degree aligned with your area of responsibility or equivalent practical experience is crucial.

Experience: Proven experience in successfully implementing Systems Engineering principles within organizations, especially in heavy mobile machinery, product development, and project management.

Competencies: Command of Systems Engineering methodologies, tools, and best practices. INCOSE certification is a plus. Customer-centric approach, effective communication, and fluency in English are essential.
