Position: Development Engineer - HydraulicsWe are seeking a talented and motivated Development Engineer specializing in hydraulics to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic systems, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This role involves the design, development, and testing of hydraulic components and systems to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out work within development of systems and components within the CB division. Development work is based on customer needs, legislation, and internal requirements according to business strategies.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:- To lead assigned work with partners, consultants, and suppliers.
- Develop components and systems to meet technical customer demands, product safety, legislations requirements, and internal demands.
- Define specifications for components and systems in cooperation with PSE and Chief Engineers.
- Coordinate components and systems design between products in consultation with PSE.
- Ensure cooperation between team function and Sourcing and Operation.
- Responsibility for reporting outcomes and possible deviations to the Line Manager.
- Define a test plan, purchase components, execute, and evaluate outcomes in consultation with Line Manager and PSE.
- Perform customer and supplier visits in consultation with Line Manager and PSE.
Education: B.Sc or M.Sc. degree within relevant field or similar knowledge through experience.
Experience: Solid technical knowledge regarding non-road mobile machinery or similar rubber-tire vehicles. Experience of product development activities within mechanical engineering is needed.
Competencies: Business- and market mindset, focus on customer needs, good communication skills, analytical and structural ability, driving force, problem solver, positive attitude, fluent in English.
