Gene Therapy & Rare Disease Portfolio Lead – Sweden

The position of the Gene Therapy & Rare Disease Lead in Sweden is crucial for developing and implementing innovative strategies for launching Gene Therapies and managing the Rare Disease portfolio. This role involves national marketing and commercial responsibilities to ensure the accessibility of our treatments for rare disease patients in Sweden.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise to build local Gene Therapy capabilities and develop strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create optimal commercial strategies.
  • Support colleagues in shaping processes for delivering innovative treatments to patients.
  • Work with Global Launch Teams to ensure asset readiness for new treatments.
  • Develop payment and distribution models to enhance patient access.
  • Coordinate country-level operating plans and financial forecasting.

Role in Advancing Reputation

  • Lead the development of local communication materials to enhance Pfizer's reputation in Gene Therapy.
  • Participate in external conferences to promote Pfizer's leadership position.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree in life sciences with 6+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • MBA and/or PhD preferred.
  • Extensive experience in commercial and business development within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Experience in omnichannel marketing and customer-facing roles.
