We are on a mission to democratize gene technologies to enable cell and gene therapy at scale and we are looking for a Head of Process Engineering to join us.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Head of Process Engineering with a strong background in biomanufacturing, preferably in DNA or RNA manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industrial experience in process development, a passion for innovation, and a desire to drive the development of robust and reproducible methods that can be validated for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Responsibilities
- Scale up, optimize and validate production processes ensuring regulatory compliance
- Optimization of workflows including documentation and reporting
- Development, establishment and execution of Tech Transfer projects from R&D to pilot plant and from pilot plant to production plant.
- Definition of control strategies in collaboration with production and development teams
- Product introduction change controls
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in biomanufacturing, with a focus on DNA or RNA manufacturing.
- Experience as Manager Tech Transfer or Manufacturing Project Lead
- Strong understanding of GMP and experience working in a GMP setting.
- Experience as Lead within process development, optimization, and validation of manufacturing operations, possibly of nucleic acids.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and efficiently.
- Academic Degree in biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field.
