Contract Manager Team Leader

Pharmetheus is growing rapidly, and we are looking to expand our team with a Contract Manager Team Leader.
In this role you will be responsible for the contracting process at Pharmetheus, ensuring efficient and effective management of client and vendor contractual agreements within the organization. You will oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from the approved proposal to the contract document ready for signature, through managing, monitoring, and closure. You will lead the contract team, consisting of two Contract Managers and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders. You will perform your duties in line with Pharmetheus' quality management system and values, as well as consistently maintaining a strong business and customer focus.
You will report to the CFO and the position is located at the Swedish HQ in Uppsala.
Key responsibilities:- Organize the management of contracts to ensure a smooth, streamlined process
- Successfully monitor the contracting process from the approved proposal to the final contract ready for signatures, resolving any contract-related issues
- Maintain and develop the Contract Lifecycle Management-system as well as contract templates
- Review, analyze and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions as well as analyse and report on specific risks associated with contracts
- Lead or assist in contract negotiations with clients and vendors
- Collaborate with legal teams to identify and address legal risks in contracts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external legal support, clients' contract departments, and other stakeholders
- Communicate and present information to stakeholders regarding contracts
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management with strong knowledge of contract law and legal terminology
- A degree in law/business law/contract law
- Leadership and team management experience
- Previous experience interacting with, and coordinating, multiple contacts and stakeholders
- Previous experience from the life science industry is an advantage
- Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
- Excellent planning and organizing capability
