Mölnlycke is currently seeking a Senior Product Designer for Digital Solutions to join the team at ORS. In this role, you will share responsibility for the comprehensive design, evolution, and validation of groundbreaking digital healthcare products. Collaboration in cross-functional projects with experts from diverse fields, guiding user research, leading design synthesis activities, and utilizing rapid prototyping techniques are key aspects. Your role will fuse structured process enhancement methodologies like Six Sigma and the scientific approach with innovative technology design principles to capture and refine customer requirements, translating them into design specifications for user-friendly digital solutions in a regulated healthcare setting.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Generate innovative product concepts in healthcare technology
  • Contribute to defining and overseeing Mölnlycke's UX strategy for product experience on digital platforms
  • Spearhead user experience and interface design processes, ensuring a profound understanding of user needs and behaviors
  • Advocate for end-users, aiming to make products, technology, and workflows intuitive and easy to use
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to keep our products competitive and cutting-edge
  • Identify and manage product and operational risks effectively to safeguard customers and the business
  • Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders to align product development with customer requirements and organizational strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver design solutions that meet business objectives
  • Lead and execute intricate design projects with significant business implications
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to convey the product vision effectively
  • Design and implement usability testing plans to gather valuable insights and feedback from end-users
  • Define acceptance criteria and conduct design validation experiments based on real-world evidence

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with rapid concept development tools for digital products like wireframes, mockups, storyboards, and visualization tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD
  • Profound technical expertise in digital medical device development and maintenance
  • Educational background: Master's degree in engineering, life science, or related field, or a Bachelor's degree with proven senior experience as a digital Product Designer
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in applying user-centric design principles for requirements gathering, design, and validation
  • Familiarity with Global Regulatory Requirements and medical device standards
  • Advanced understanding of various server and client-side hardware architectures, cloud-based technologies, and software development tech stacks
  • Proven ability to translate complex customer needs into intuitive design specifications
  • Skill in leading cross-functional teams, engaging both medical and technical stakeholders in design and validation activities
  • Capability to thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken

It would be beneficial if you also have:

  • Proficiency in Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies, particularly in healthcare process enhancement
  • Deep technical insight into digital equipment for operating rooms
  • Experience with HL7 and FHIR
