YOUR ROLE AT VOI

Joining us as a Finance Associate, your primary focus will be managing the accounts payable process meticulously across various European entities. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the accounts payable workflow and validating invoice codingSecuring approvals from different business units within specified timelinesExecuting payment processes and conducting bank reconciliations for multiple accountsReviewing employee expense claims, ensuring proper documentation and codingMaintaining Vendor Master data in the ERP system (Netsuite)Preparing and addressing balance sheet reconciliations tied to accounts payableVerifying vendor accounts and statementsCollaborating with the finance team to streamline processes, facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, and support external audits

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

We seek a detail-oriented finance professional with excellent communication skills to engage with numerous stakeholders and independently tackle challenges. Alongside fluency in English, we expect the ideal candidate to possess:

A degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (Bachelor's or above)Proven experience in autonomous management of the accounts payable process, from data entry to reconciliation and paymentsProficiency in Excel and/or Google SheetsFamiliarity with diverse systems like AP-systems (Medius) or ERP-systems (Netsuite)Previous exposure to vendor master data management is advantageousKnowledge of additional European languages like Spanish, German, or French is a bonus
