We have an exciting opportunity for a DD O&M Technical Support Engineer to play a crucial role in leading the way towards fossil freedom for Vattenfall and its partners. Join our Wind Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, a group of highly skilled professionals with deep technical expertise. Our goal is to optimize the O&M processes, minimize downtime, and enhance the lifespan of our assets. This strategy is a key component of Vattenfall's ongoing improvement initiatives.

Your profile

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will work closely with the team to address technical queries related to wind turbine generators (WTG). Your responsibilities include:

  • Assessing technical issues and ensuring accurate resolution
  • Identifying potential platform issues
  • Coordinating with management to prioritize technical requests
  • Liaising with OEMs and commercial managers on technical matters
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Contributing to operational improvement projects
  • Collaborating with internal technical groups

Your profile / who are you?

For success in this role

To excel as a DD O&M Technical Support Engineer, you should possess:

  • A technical background in electrical and/or mechanical disciplines
  • Experience in troubleshooting and knowledge of turbine platforms
  • Familiarity with standard office software and maintenance systems
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Comfort with international and multidisciplinary environments
  • Flexibility for travel and physical work requirements

Location

The role may be based in London (UK), Amsterdam (Netherlands), or Kolding or Esbjerg (Denmark). While primarily desk-based, occasional visits to windfarm sites are necessary for efficiency.
