The Opportunity:

Avantor is currently seeking a motivated In Vivo Lab Technician to join the growing team in Mölndal. In this role, you will provide direct support to researchers working in animal facilities by collecting and ordering laboratory supplies, replenishing lab materials, maintaining a clean work environment, and more. This is a full-time and permanent position based at our client's site in Mölndal. In addition to an attractive salary, we offer several benefits such as a bonus plan, pension scheme, and wellness grant.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, starting between 6:00 - 9:00 and ending 15:00 - 18:00

Team

This is a newly formed team that is growing. The team currently consists of an In Vivo Lab Manager and an In Vivo Technician. Together, they belong to our Lab & Production Services department, assisting major pharmaceutical companies and laboratories worldwide with research and development in the Life Sciences industry.

Required Experience

Education: High school diploma, preferably related to animal management

Experience:

Experience with any type of animal work is a big assetExperience in a laboratory environment is a plus but not required

Required Skills:

Proficient in MS OfficeFluent in both Swedish and good in EnglishCurious, adaptable, and independentService-minded, outgoing, and hardworkingComfortable working in an animal laboratory

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Support in washing and maintenance of lab glassware and lab accessories, including animal cagesCollection, purchase, and replenishment of consumables, e.g., lab coats and chemicalsPreparing goods for entry and exit in confined spacesPurchasing and restocking animal-related products for daily use, e.g., foodMaintaining the work areaContributing to creating, maintaining, and updating relevant documents
