What you will do:

As the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will hold a critical role in our organization's strategic direction. You will be on a continuous mission to strengthen our financial analysis and planning function with the right processes, systems and nurture the culture and skillset within the organization. By fostering transparency and guiding fact-based decision-making, you will directly contribute to Tobii Dynavox's growth.

The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis is the trusted advisor to the business that enables leaders to translate data to digestible actionable information and drives the business towards right investment decisions. As a valuable part of our Finance team , which consists of 8 members , you will be leading our Business Controlling team and report to our Chief Financial Officer.

Your week will include the following range of tasks:

  • Drive and develop financial analysis and planning (business controlling) across Tobii Dynavox .
  • Monthly reporting, KPI follow-up and analysis of revenues, COGS and profitability.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the business and conduct business reviews with business units and subsidiaries.
  • Support various stakeholders in the organization to help them understand the link between numbers and business.
  • Own the forecasting and planning processes and continuously enhancing models, processes, and projects.
  • Lead, train, and support the Business Controlling team to ensure right financial reporting and problem-solving competencies.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.

Your proactive approach , curiosity and problem-solving abilities will drive conversations and initiatives, contributing directly to our organizational success. Although management consulting background or prior system implementation experience are not required ; they are highly appreciated to bring the understanding of business, fast learning ability and perspective on different financial processes to the team.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Academic education in business, finance, accounting, or similar degrees.
  • At least an equivalent of 6 years of relevant work experience in business controlling, financial planning, financial analysis.
  • Broad finance competence including data literacy to analyze and synthesize the data .
  • Ability to use Excel to the extent of extracting and analyzing complex data efficiently .
  • Experience of developing finance functions and improving data structure in a global setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • E xceptional communication skills to effectively translate complex financial data into easily understandable and actionable insights .
