Your mission

As a System Engineer you will be working closely with your colleagues in Germany and Sweden. Your primary responsibility is assisting the IT department with all aspects of technology as it relates to office and regional priorities. Pointsharp continuously strives to improve their IT systems and services, support the business, and strive to create and innovate with technology.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems that arise within the company's server environment, on-prem and cloud systems and networks.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Installation and configuration of Windows and Linux servers
  • Domain controller with active directory user management
  • Planning and implementation of network segmentation.
  • Configuration of L2 stack switches and VLANs
  • Responsible for site-to-site VPN tunnel and VPN dial-in for clients
  • Ensuring and further developing the company's internal IT security
Your profile
  • Key requirements for the position are:
  • Experience working with:
  • Windows Client/Server: (DHCP, DNS, WSUS and CA
  • Firewall and Mailgateway (Sophos, Fortigate, Fortimail, Watchguard, Lancom)
  • Network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN usw.)
  • Microsoft 365
  • Virtualization (VMware, NAS/SAN)
  • European citizenship is required
