With our continuous growth, we are looking to expand our team with a System Engineer focused on Swedish clients.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conducts systems and database administration of moderate complexity. Monitors and optimizes systems for peak performance.
  • Manages software installations, upgrades, and related packages.
  • Analyzes system data for capacity planning, develops capacity plans, and coordinates changes at an enterprise level.
  • Assists in designing and configuring complex system landscapes.
  • Supports data/media recovery through backups and archive operations. Develops data refresh strategies.
  • Implements database solutions and enhancements for improved system reliability and performance.
  • Applies support packages/patches to maintain system integrity.
  • Creates and updates system documentation, ensuring its accuracy. Maintains a library of process and procedure documentation.
  • Collaborates with client management to address complex system issues.
  • Provides mentorship to junior team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field
  • Six or more years of client-server environment experience
  • Experience in systems administration, database management, and landscape maintenance
  • Familiarity with company products, services, and documentation
  • Proficiency in system implementations and organizational processes
  • Experience with Red Hat and SUSE

  • Capable of independent and teamwork
