Institutional Banking is part of the division LC&FI and a cornerstone of SEB's offering to Financial Institutions and Banks. Risk and Market Advocacy is a unit within Institutional Banking and consists of Network Management, Depositary Services and Risk & Regulations. It is an important function that ensures access to international financial markets, and which enables SEB's clients to make investments and to keep assets safe as well as in compliance with investments policies in the instances that SEB acts as Depositary.

The risk and regulatory agenda and requirements are an increasingly important focus area within SEB. To strengthen and secure the ownership of the agenda within Risk & Market Advocacy and Institutional Banking, we are now looking for a Regulatory & Oversight Manager.

About the role:

You will mainly work in risk and regulatory environment which includes monitoring activities of third parties. Parts of the role include the following:

· Advising Institutional Banking on actions, implications, and consequences of regulatory changes.

· Proactively and consequently collaborate with the business to mitigate risk.

· Stay updated on all relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices, and ensure internal teams and clients are informed of changes and implications.

·Provide Institutional Banking clients with informed guidance, both digitally and in physical meetings.

· Ensure to meet requirements and monitoring of third-party suppliers.

· Take an active part in relevant Committees and forums.

·You will have an advisory role within the organisation and will work close to the business.

·You will represent Risk & Market Advocacy in forums internally and externally and proactively keep the organisation updated on news and trends.

· The role also entails active dialogue with all business units within Institutional Banking, including both client coverage units and product areas for banks and financial institutions.

The position will be in Stockholm, and you will report directly to Head of Risk & Market Advocacy.

To thrive in this role, we believe you:

·Are a professional with multiple years (minimum 10) of experience, possessing a deep understanding of the Institutional Banking business, clients' environments, and the financial markets.

· Have a background working in a bank, financial markets, or consulting/audit firm, bringing a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape that impacts Institutional Banking and its clients.

·Have a strategic mind and work in a structured and trustworthy way with a balanced and efficient focus on results and risk and you are comfortable in collaborating and working cross units.

·Are flexible, highly service oriented and can deliver under pressure to ensure the best quality.

·Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.

·Are proactive and have a client-focused attitude with the ability to anticipate and solve regulatory challenges.

·Are comfortable speaking in front of large groups, with experience presenting at conferences, events or client meetings.

·Have exceptional communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish (written and spoken).
