SEB Asset Management (AM) is one of the largest asset managers in the Nordics, providing a full set of asset management products, including management and distribution of Alternative Investment (AIFS) and UCITS funds as well as advisory services and discretionary mandates for institutional investors.

As the business and the organization are evolving, Group Risk together with AM is looking for a Senior Risk Controller to be placed in the CRO function of the division and cover the Investment Management company in the division.

About the role:

As a Senior Risk Controller, you will have daily contact with different parts of the organization, including members of management, as well as a close collaboration with other colleagues within the AM CRO function and also SEB Group Risk. You will have a direct reporting line to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of the AM Division.

You will together with the team ensure that all risks in the Investment Management company are identified, controlled, managed and reported in line with regulatory expectations and group standards and oversee that the risk management processes are implemented as intended.

Amongst other things you will be working with:
  • Actively identify and control all material risks across a broad range of risk types and ensure efficient communication and reporting to relevant stakeholders
  • Support the development and maintenance of the risk frameworks in AM including instructions, processes and methods
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by proactively working with upcoming regulatory changes
  • Contribute to a professional and open dialogue with external and internal stakeholders regarding risk management practices
