About the Job

In the role as a full-stack developer, you will be a part of the group responsible for the execution of investment models and generation of orders to be traded on exchanges around the world. You will find yourself in the heart of the automated trading flow in Lynx's fully systematic investment process.

The group develops and supports their suite of systems with close collaborations with the researchdepartment, the execution team and the portfolio department.

The groups infrastructure runs investment models both in the cloud and on our own hardware. Thegroup plays an important role in providing the research department with timely and accurate information regarding the theoretical portfolio for the different investment programs enabling them to optimize the portfolio construction. This results in many interesting challenges requiring a broad programming expertise and domain knowledge.

As all systems are developed internally, their performance, robustness and accuracy are imperative. You will collaborate with other developers at Lynx as well with analysts on the investment side to

support and further improve our automated trading flow.

Responsibilities:


• Development of APIs and backend services supporting them as well as UIs for interaction


• Understanding and communicating business demands and corresponding functional and non-functional requirements


• Being part of architecture discussions and decisions for the team


• Making sure quality requirements are met through unit tests and automated integration

tests


• DevOps culture wherein developers are responsible for monitoring and operational support of built systems

Who are you?

To succeed in the role as a full-stack developer at Lynx Asset Management we believe you should have a university education in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in a programming role. A background in the intersection of programming and finance is considered beneficial.

Ideally you have previously been a part of a team with a DevOps approach and built production quality systems from the ground-up in C# or a similar language. You should have a strong drive and be thrilled at the idea of building a great system with your team members that you can be proud of.
