Project Overview and Responsibilities
  • Plant responses to temperature stress can greatly impact growth and development. Our research aims to enhance understanding of molecular and cellular reactions to heat and cold stress in plants.
  • Focus will be on the root of Arabidopsis thaliana, utilizing cutting-edge methods like confocal microscopy, molecular biology, and biochemistry to study plasma membrane dynamics and composition.
  • Tasks involve immunolocalizations and identification of proteins involved in auxin transport regulation.
Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated plant biologist with:

  • Expertise in confocal microscopy and a doctoral degree in relevant fields (molecular biology, plant physiology, etc.)
  • Previous experience with spectroscopic techniques and proficiency in super-resolution and light sheet microscopy
  • Demonstrated skill in immunolocalizations, western blot, and Co-IP techniques
  • Familiarity with Arabidopsis thaliana root and strong English language skills
  • Ability to independently plan, conduct, and assess experiments with enthusiasm and collaboration
  • Bonus: Experience with crop roots
