We are looking for a leader who is an entrepreneurially-minded marketer with a passion for and experience delivering impactful innovation. This person will lead the creation and launch of hand hygiene innovations for away-from-home/B2B applications that not only help keep people safe but also help keep our planet healthy.

Job Description

As a Global Brand Innovation Manager, you'll lead innovations from concept to launch around the world. You'll work in a marketing / technical partnership to lead prioritized concepts through all stages of the funnel to grow the Tork brand.

You'll create and bring to market soap and sanitizer innovations that help keep people healthy and save the planet.

Tork is the world's #1 professional hygiene brand and part of Essity – a leading global health and hygiene company with sales in over 150 countries and over 36,000 employees. Our headquarters are in Sweden. This position would optimally reside in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you will do:

Input into overall product strategy and recommend the assortment vision and ambition to the Global Brand Director. Build consumer & customer insights & propose market research. Use global segmentation & positioning to identify gaps vs competition. Discover, develop and evaluate new territories / new concepts that enable a balanced flow of activities entering the 8-quarter launch plan. Recommend product & solution innovations that build on key brand features & design to Global Brand Director and validate with key decision makers. Lead and act as project manager for relevant innovation projects through all stages of the Innovation funnel. Collaborate closely with the Global Technical Innovation Managers and Global Product Managers to drive projects forward. Collaborate closely with the Global Brand Director, the Business Unit, lead Segments, Market Research, R&D, Regulatory and multiple other functions in our highly matrixed organization to create, develop, optimize and bring to life your innovations with a sense of urgency and purpose. Lead all aspects of new solutions including: Concept development, Target definition, Product Design and Development, Positioning, Claims, Packaging, Pricing, critical Communication Content, and recommended marketing mix. This position will focus on driving innovations for the Europe, Australasia and the Middle East but will have global responsibilities and will need a global mindset.

Who You Are

A collaborative leader – someone who drives results and is a team player. A marketer with a general manager mindset and a passion for innovation – you are a classically trained marketer with "blue chip" marketing experience (b2b or b2c) and also have a business mindset and a deep passion for and experience delivering innovation. You have 8+ years marketing and innovation experience An entrepreneurial spirit – you are a strong strategic thinker and appreciate process but are more concerned with delivering results and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done. An ambidextrous, lateral thinker – you are able to see the big picture and connect dots others don't, but you are also a supreme task/project manager who sweats the details and is comfortable with project management tools to keep things on track. Speak English fluently.
