We are looking for a skilled professional to lead and develop a team of high performing individuals responsible for Data and AI deliveries for Volvo Penta.

As a Digital Product Owner, you will lead an agile team of data professionals playing an important role in transforming the product vision into value creation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a diverse global team focused on Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI projects.
  • Ensure transparency and understanding of the team backlog.
  • Collaborate across teams and with business partners to manage dependencies effectively.
  • Oversee support for digital products within team scope.
  • Develop the team's skills and capacity for both short and long-term goals.
  • Contribute to Volvo Penta's data strategy and digital product vision.
  • Identify and address strategic data initiatives for Volvo Penta.
  • Support the group's common architecture and technology goals
Who are you ?

For this position you need to communicate efficiently, have excellent listening and presentation skills, and create strong working relationships with colleagues across the Volvo Group.

You have a university degree and experience from leading functionally, preferably within IT management, Data Science, Information Management or likewise.

In addition to this, you are a passionate believer in lifelong learning. You should feel energized by working both independently and interdependently, have proven skills in cross-functional collaboration and thrive in managing, foster, and enable both the perform and the transform angles of the job.

In this role you need to have solid professional English skills, both written and spoken.
