We are looking for a key talent to join our Sales Area and are recruiting for the Service Market & Retail Controlling Director.

We are part of a global and diverse operation and are motivated by making our customers win. Volvo Trucks Europe South & West is responsible for sales and marketing activities in 10 countries in total, covering 4 markets, Italy, France, Spain, UK & Ireland and our Private Importer organizations in Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Israel and Palestine.

Your responsibility will include working closely with our market colleagues to support and analyze Parts & Service performance based on full value chain perspective to drive growth and profitability.

Finance, like most functions, are on digital transformation journey where we are key on making data available for taking right decisions and the role is key in identifying and executing digital initiatives together with relevant stake holders.

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward looking colleague, who enjoys working in a demanding and fast changing environment. You enjoy working towards deadlines during monthly book closing and the estimate process. You are a good business partner to our markets. You communicate openly and effectively at all levels and can adapt to new and changing demands.

The role is part of the Volvo Trucks Europe South & West Service Market & Retail Management team. The role also interacts with the Regional Value Chain (RVC) organization on operational issues as well as development topics.

The position holder is a member of the Business Control function and will report to the VP Business Control – Volvo Trucks Europe South & West.

Key responsibilities

  • Tight grip of the Service & Retail performance both in actuals as well as estimates
  • Build sound relations with markets to understand and enhance business performance
  • Contribute to Parts & Service growth
  • Provide accurate and story building performance analysis
  • Give input to the target setting process and coach the business to reach their targets
  • Manage the overall estimate process for the sales area
  • Represent sales area in relevant forums within Volvo Trucks
  • Participate in ad hoc projects within Volvo Trucks such as Power BI tools development, IT system implementation and process improvement

Qualifications and critical competencies for the position:

  • Master or bachelor ́s degree in Finance Administration and/or Business Administration or similar
  • Experience in financial reporting and business control
  • Curious and strong business-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical skills and keen to work with large amount data
  • Strong communication skills and keen networker
  • Ability to work successfully in a global organization and international environment
  • Good knowledge of Essbase (Oracle)
