Position Description:
As an integrated part of the Human Resources team, reporting directly to the Director Total Compensation Scandinavia & Northern Central Europe, this role will focus on broad based compensation and benefit activities with a heavy emphasis on data analytics and automated tools. You will take on an advisory role for the compensation and benefits of Sweden, Norway & Denmark.

To thrive in this role, you have a consultative communication style and possess broad technical expertise within the compensation area. In addition to this you have deep analytical skills and won't stop until you have made sense of the facts and figures. You mastered the craft of distilling large quantities of data into a meaningful format for decision making.
The ideal candidate will become an integral part of the Regional Total Compensation team in Northern Central Eastern Europe, effectively building strong working relationship within the Scandinavian HR team and the Global Total Compensation team.
The location can be at any of our 40 + offices in Sweden, Norway or Denmark. We believe in flexibility and have a great mix between working from home and from one of our offices.
We are seeking someone who is well-organized, energetic and with a high level of attention to detail to join our team.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Taking the primary role for Sweden, Norway & Denmark (Supporting the TC Director for Scandinavia & Northern Central Europe) for total compensation initiatives such as annual Salary Review, Profit Participation Plan and Long Term Incentive Plans; manage the benefit initiatives and renewal planning. In this capacity, developing and delivering communications, training, and job aids. Coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and liaising with internal groups to enhance, test and deliver automated tools.
• Assist the TC Director with the coordination of all Total Compensation annual activities of the entire Region.
• Performing benchmarking and ad hoc market analysis to include research and presentation of appropriate external and internal comparisons.
• Providing total compensation consulting services, insight and guidance to Human Resources Business Partners and other internal clients on total compensation issues and trends.
• Managing the pensions plans and insurance renewals for Sweden & Norway, looking for ways to maximize the return on the investment for CGI and our employees by building and enhancing existing relationships with external benefit providers and consultants.
• Investigating and resolving escalated issues associated with compensation & benefits.
• Providing analysis and modeling using advanced MS Excel skills in support of various compensation projects.
• Actively contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Between five and eight years of experience within compensation and benefits
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience in a matrix organizations is consider an asset
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and independently manage multiple competing priorities
• Fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages in both speaking and in writing.
• Working knowledge of relevant Swedish legislation.
• Advanced Excel and solid Power Point skills
• Bachelor degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
