Job description

As a Project Manager at Opticom, your role will be pivotal in meticulously planning and supervising every stage of our market research and consulting projects. Your mission will be to ensure the successful achievement of research objectives, optimal utilization of resources, and the satisfaction of all stakeholders' interests. You'll be the driving force behind the timely completion of project milestones within the allocated budget, and the effective execution of tasks by team members. Your role will also involve keeping both the client and our internal team updated on crucial developments, progress, and upcoming steps. Moreover, you'll be responsible for communicating any necessary revisions to the project timeline to find the most optimal solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead projects, ensuring client requirements are met and deadlines are achieved, while fostering a motivated and inspired team
  • Uphold Opticom's high-quality standards across all project facets
  • Craft essential project scope, timelines and project materials, including briefings, presentations etc.
  • Collaborate with project teams to supervise fieldwork and interpret statistical data
  • Maintain transparent and proactive communication with clients
  • Analyze data, design insightful reports, and formulate actionable recommendations
  • Deliver compelling presentations of results and facilitate engaging workshops to improve our clients' business

As a Project Manager, you'll be a key component in delivering results that align with the project's objectives in a user-friendly format that enables the client to easily track progress.

You'll be tasked with preparing report templates and finalizing reports to be sent to clients, including conducting quality checks, drawing conclusions, and providing actionable recommendations. You'll design questionnaires that align with the client's research objectives, are relevant to the respondents, and provide guidance to the interviewers.

From the initial interaction, you'll demonstrate a strong commitment to client satisfaction and maintain effective communication throughout the entire project. You'll collaborate with client directors in sales, executing sales-related tasks in close partnership with a Client Director, who holds ultimate responsibility for the overall proposal, including pricing and direct client engagement.

Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of project management experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Experience in our key industries: Forest products or Industrial goods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly in Excel, Power Point and Teams
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, preferably using SPSS or similar data analysis programs
  • Inspiring presentation skills
  • Experience in client management and providing strategic recommendations to clients
  • Experience in agile project management
  • Proficiency in English and preferably at least one other language
