Right now, we need to strengthen our Application teamwith an App Development Manager who will focus on the leadership of our talented development team and cooperate with global stakeholders to ideate, prototype, develop & deliver great applications for our customers.

What you'll do:

Your overall responsibility is to lead, coach and give your team the conditions they need to be able to contribute to the success of the company, through smooth and effective deliveries in projects and in a sustainable way. You will drive the development of our application through continuous improvement, being on top of industry trends and setting standards with the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and build a strong application development team, set goals, lead performance review, competence development and salary discussions
  • Define clear structure and processes for smooth team development and deliveries.
  • Manage the application development and delivery to projects together with the application delivery manager.
  • Help to set driveways for working closely with cross-functional teams like UX/UI designers, SQA and firmware-embedded developers.
  • Continuously explore and experiment with new ways to improve processes and ways of working.

As the App Development Manager, you will be the central point of contact and information flow for your team, empower them to deliver on time and meet expectations. We seek someone who can confidently lead through uncertainty and has substantial experience in app development and software projects. Additionally, we value individuals who are team-oriented, passionate about both personal and team growth, and adept at fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:

  • 4+ years of proven people management experience.
  • Building and managing software teams with a high success rate of delivery.
  • Having experience in defining processes and ways of working in software development.
  • Having experience in software development within iOS or Android
  • Strong ability to clearly communicate and interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly structured and thorough in your daily work.
