Scania is now transforming from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Sales and Marketing is responsible for our customer offer and business strategy for Trucks, Bus, Power Solutions, Parts and Services, as well as sales support. Global support and IT applications are provided to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network creating the right conditions for an efficient retail and wholesale operation.

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting digital transformation towards a more flow-oriented, customer-driven, digitalized and lean approach with agile methods and high-performance development teams as key components. - Now is the right time to join us on this exciting journey.

Contracted Services and Services Sales Department is looking for a new team member with a focus on developing Scania's Services business concerning services sales, related processes, methods, system support and global business concepts to support our retail operation with the right conditions to fulfil their full potential to achieve Scania's business targets.

The work will be carried out in cross-functional groups with agile methodology as a base and in close cooperation with Commercial Operations (CO), Presales & Sales Readiness (KJ), Business Unit's Distributors, and internal departments.


• Drive the development of Services Sales methodologies (Retails Sales Management – Services), business processes within service sales and administration.

• Drive demands and put requirements on related systems e.g. SCRM, Digital Dealer, quotation tools etc, with high focus on the user journeys and the customer experience.

• Contribute with a sales perspective on a Global Services concepts in how we promote, educate, sell and package our services.

• Implementation projects together with CO and BU's with regards to service business concepts, work methods, and process changes (e.g. Scania ProCare, Retail Sales Management – Services, Services 360).

• Together with CO representatives create services sales reference groups to maintain a continuous outside perspective on services sales development needs.

• Act as a representative for the Service Operation area in cross-functional projects to secure a services sales perspective on our services development projects.

• Define measuring methods, references and tools for service sales performance follow-up.

Your profile


• You have a commercial- and open-minded perspective on Scania's service business, its operation, IT systems and our customer transport business.

• You are a good listener, communicative and have experience in driving change and improvements.

• We are looking for a person with experience in Service Operations, previous work in our Business Unit/Retail network is a merit.

The implementations are done by Commercial Operation together with our service network, in close cooperation with our department and therefore you need good personal skills and the ability to support the implementation of both products and systems. You will also be required to act as a trainer and partner towards our services network, together with Commercial Operations.

The team

Within Sales & Marketing we are a team of 8 employees consisting of Contract Development Managers, and Service Development Managers committed to enhancing the development of the services sales business in our network. As a Service Development Manager, you will be able to work with an experienced team supporting the global services organisation to achieve the best possible performance by developing service products and effective methods. Besides that, you will also be in a group that will highly support you and where you can broaden your knowledge within the Services Sales Business, including Contracted Services.
