About the role

As a Business Controller EMEA, you will support and challenge managers and their organizations to achieve financial goals, offer strategic insights and lead reporting and budgeting process. You will support Revenue growth, OPEX control and cost optimization through proactive business follow-up.

This role is based at our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden but we are open to other major Sinch European locations as well. The role reports to VP, EMEA FP&A. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Partner with Regional senior leadership to drive achievement of financial and operational targets  Drive P&L development for the Enterprise or Mid-Market Sales organization  Provide insight and recommendations to strategic decision making; including but not limited to profitability/ROI analysis, business plan review, cost optimization  Setup frameworks from a finance perspective to enable commercial success; including but not limited to Sales KPI steering and cost allocation models  Drive process towards creating a full regional P&L including allocated cost  Build and manage Regional Business reporting packages, including but not limited to P&L, BS and CF-reporting. Measure, report and challenge business performance.  In accordance with process guidance from Corporate Control lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes for the Functions  Interface with central Financial Operations to ensure accurate and timely reporting  Support Sinch-wide Finance harmonization initiatives ( ERP implementation) 

About you

To be successful in the role you have visionary and strategic mindset yet with strong hands-on ability, willingness to deep dive into details when required. You are a strong communicator that is clear, concise, engaging and persuasive across stakeholder groups, adapting the content & language to the audience. You have a commercial and business focused approach and are able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw conclusions. Last but not least, you love Excel and is fierce at PowerPoint and have the ability to simplify complex data.

Proven experience of Business Controlling or equivalent in a large and international company Experience of Accounting or Financial control Proven experience from driving financial process transformation and process excellence  Experience in setting up frameworks for commercial enablement (customer pricing, product costing, market research, etc) and supporting contract negotiations etc.  Experience in the following systems is a plus: Aaro, Tableau, Salesforce, SAP by Design, Great Plains, Netsuite  Fluency in English is required
