  • Write technical requirement specifications of the electrical components of the power module.
  • Lead technical discussions with other stakeholders within engineering.
  • Participate and execute the power module qualification.
  • Ensure consistency and compatibility between all the functions of the power module.
  • Define, together with the power module team, the power module validation strategy.
  • Ensure that the constructional & functional configuration of the power module is compliant with requirements (verification)
  • Analyze the technical issues and solutions.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Relevant academic background, e.g. Master’s Degree in (high voltage power)Electronics, or similar.
  • Experience and the understanding of VHDL (very high description language) and electronic design is a merit and beneficial.

  • Experience and knowledge to work in a HV (power)lab; test environment development; measuring devices, equipment, LabView.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of electronic device testing including the knowledge of analogue and digital design solutions.
  • Experience and knowledge of insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBT’s) and the control/driving of them is beneficial.

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
