About this opportunity  

Welcome to the KYC Application Management team, which is a part of KYC Change Management in Group Financial Crime Prevention (GFCP). We deliver group-wide automated risk controls to detect and prevent financial crime for the greater good of society.

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Incident Managerwho will secure Financial Crime Prevention solutions and ensure compliance within applications and processes through incidents handling in order to minimise the impact on Nordea and its customers. 

As an Incident Manager, you will therefore not only play a valuable role in managing incident handling processes and secure operational stability, but also need to have the ability to contribute significantly to engagement, clear communication and show direction in order to support and meet deliveries.

The role requires close collaboration with many stakeholders across the organisation. E.g. with Risk Management, Release Management, IT Application Provider and Project Managers and Group Financial Crime Prevention.

You will also be responsible for setting up the Incident Management process according to Nordea standards.

What you will be doing:  

Act as focal point for all priority (1, 2 & 3) incidents and incident coordinator for high-complexity incidents, Ensure that incidents are correctly prioritized, by assessing their impact, urgency and severity, Drive and coordinate the activities aiming at efficient problem resolution, both through mitigating action and cross-functional root cause analysis, Drive Incidents and problem tasks-forces, Engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure quick restoration and operational stability,  Follow-up on related problems to secure permanent fixes, i.e. by driving and facilitating forum for cross-unit maintenance, Secure correct and transparent incident and problem reporting, You will take a lead on driving, debating and strategies with transparency and open dialogs, Contribute to building effective and efficient Incident Management process across KYC.

Experience and background:

Extensive experience in driving incidents and problem tasks-forces, Experience in IT Operations (either on IT or Business side), Has an ITIL foundation and experience in how to use it, Proven ability in stakeholder management and coordination of cross-functional teamwork towards tasks completion, Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills, Demonstrated ability to adapt, respond to changes and drive actions, Experience in preparing reports and other documentation, Is dependable and willing to speak up – even if it is not convenient, Well-structured and always looking for ways to follow and improve processes, Knowledge from KYC, Financial Crime Prevention area would be an asset, Professional level of written and verbal communication skills in English is a must.

KYC Application Managment is based in Gdansk, Stockholm and Copenhagen. The Senior Incident Manager could be based in Helsinki, Stockholm, Tallin, Łódź, Gdansk.
