About the role

Primary objective of position:
The role strategically drives total profitable revenue andmarket share growth for the area hotels from crew and leisure segments. As a part of this, negotiate on selected airline related business; Crew, IRR, Corporate, to secure optimalagreements in line with area and hotel commercial strategies, as well as negotiating leisure group business and coordinatingthe execution of group business with the area hotels in accordance with thehotel’s commercial plan and budget.

Role & Key Responsibilities

Maximize revenue Achieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities within the crew and leisure market segments. Assists in the development of annual sales targets within these market segments. Uses SAP Sales Cloud to log client appointments, leads and converted business. Map out the business opportunities for the area and updated at all times. Ensures own function operates within cost parameters. Maintains effective correspondence between clients, hotels etc. Meets budgeted sales and profit margins for group business by soliciting, selling and confirming business as required. Develops data and recommends programs to meet client’s needs. Prepares proposals to maximize profit. Implements strategies to facilitate market penetration for increased national and international production to meet increasing demands reflecting in the change and growth of the Company. Use sales calls to solicit existing and new clients. Increases sales volumes and profitability by assisting in developing and executing projects for assigned market segments Drive all revenue (crew, leisure groups andwholesalers) and market share growth for the area. Develop knowledge of each account, its pipeline,supplier management and strategic focus. Create and use consultative selling approach tomaximize commercial opportunity. Stay on top of industry trends, news and competitoractivities. Attends Radisson Sales Blitz’s and/or trade shows inkey market cities to develop new business and to contact established clients inthese cities.

Skills & Qualifications

Desirable University qualification. Min 3 Years’ experience as a Sales Manager/AccountManager. Min 3 Years’ experience in the Hotel, Travel or AirlineIndustry. Sales experience within crew and leisure clients, desirable. Fluent in English is necessary and other languages(ie. Scandinavian, French or Spanish) is a plus.  You are proactive, analytical, and results driven
