Grow your career and make an impact 

As part of the ISS Governance team, you with other experts on the team and within the organization, will work with clients to fully optimize their corporate governance program. You will analyze corporate governance and financial information and write reports on publicly traded companies in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, based on ISS Governance’ voting guidelines. 

Using the latest technology, in conjunction with analyst expertise on corporate governance, you and the team provide clients with customized vote recommendations based on their respective proxy voting guidelines. 

In addition, you and the team will engage with companies and institutional investors on shareholder meetings, answer queries on research reports, contribute to regular ISS Governance publications and assist with policy formulation.

Here you will develop a market expertise in corporate governance, investment, and shareholder issues. 

What you come to the table with 

Master’s degree in Law and/or Finance, Economics or equivalent through experience 

Interest or a previous experience in corporate governance/investment analysis/research with a focus on the Nordic markets 

Fluency in English and one of the Nordic languages (Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, or Swedish)

An analytical, collaborative personality with a passion for research, problem solving and asking ‘what if’ 

A desire to be part of an intellectually rich and deadline-driven work environment 

The space to work independently and take initiative while also working successfully in a team environment 

Brilliant ability to assimilate large quantities of information 

Exceptional attention to detail 

The understanding and flexibility to work outside normal work hours during peak weeks on an as-needed-basis
